It would be easy to reach a point as a writer or editor and think, “Yep, I’ve got this nailed.”

That would be me … on a regular basis.

The reality is that we can always improve our skills. This article offers up five writing problems and how to fix them.

Some of the problems are more copywriting focused, but the improvement message is there: Remember the audience.

I especially like the last point about improving your writing process. The author says the good writing doesn’t come from inspiration, it comes from a good writing process.

I’ve had many inspired ideas, and they only worked after I drafted the piece, tore it apart, and rebuilt it.

You can rebuild it. You have the technology.
